Without credit liquidity it would have hit Main Street hard shortly.<BR/><BR/>While it is not desirable to bail some of the Wall Street bad loans out, its the only way to make sure there is not a growing economic liquidity problem.<BR/><BR/>This is the nature of capitalism itself. The US has had this same issue since 1792 repeat over and over. JP Morgan acted as the US Central Bank in the 1890's and averted a recession/depression on his own.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
