Just to clarify, Carver has nothing to do with Roberts Rules of Order, or other aspects of how meetings are conducted. Neither is a substitute, or alternative, for the other.

-- NickNickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08467682953748756539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30130444.post-62434996269942400192011-09-08T10:02:46.517-05:002011-09-08T10:02:46.517-05:00The following was posted on the Press-Citizen rega...The following was posted on the Press-Citizen regarding the op ed:

josephusrex
7:54 AM on September 6, 2011

Mr. Johnson, you might be right. Trouble is, when we think of the Carver method, we think of the disorderly, inefficient squabblefests that the School Board calls "meetings" -- because that's what we see of the Carver method in action. What has the Board got against Robert's Rules, anyway?

-- NickNickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08467682953748756539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30130444.post-43568193628046905792011-09-07T08:27:45.018-05:002011-09-07T08:27:45.018-05:00The board is far too reactive. At least that's how I see it.
JimJimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09603972805105279037noreply@blogger.com
